Just last week, UNESCO added 8 new sites to their World Heritage List, and the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve in Mexico was one of them. Located about 100km north west of Mexico City, it's difficult to find out just how many butterflies live or migrate into this area; but presumably over the coming years there will be more information available for tourists.
